About PUMA of Solingen
PUMA has made knives in Solingen since 1769. The Solingen-made knives are built from 1.4116 German cutlery steel hardened to 55 to 57 HRC, and the PUMA SGB series, presented by PUMA Knife Company USA, revives classic PUMA patterns from earlier decades, some of which are no longer made in Solingen. The PUMA IP line pairs Solingen with partner workshops in Spain, using natural handle materials such as olive wood and deer horn. The PUMA TEC and XP lines are the modern working knives of the range.
Since natural materials such as stag horn, bone and wood are used, the knife you receive may differ slightly from the photographs.
Prices are in South African rand and include VAT where applicable; we are not a VAT vendor, so no VAT is added. Every knife is different, so anything unusual is quoted after we have seen it. Nothing on this page is legal advice; see our terms.
